Yay for new tenants and their money!
I’m part of a performance for the special olympics tonight. It’s hard to be excited about the performance since I’ve done it seemingly a hundred times.
Tie me to a tree!
My prayer time has been all over the board emotionally. Most of my prayers at this point are simply for God’s mercy. I don’t want to fall back into old sins.
Life is good. Jesus loves me. I have great friends. I have a good job, make good money, and a car with a very confused engine light. I have a family (parents, siblings) that are more caring and interested in my life than ever before. I have a great roommate. I live in a great apartment in a great location. I’m extremely talented and smart. All my toes work correctly.
It’s obvious the challenge of pursuing and winning Susan’s heart has been lifted from me. However, I can’t help but think I was successful. I don’t want to agonize over it, but I can’t help but think she loved me, and it scared her and made her feel guilty. She was obviously not in the same place even though I’m sure she wanted to be.
Today is day 1 of a fast. Just water and the occasional protein shake.
